Team Procrastination: AM Radio Project
Implementation of Improvements
This page outlines the process we went through to improve the AM Radio kit and the results

This is a schematic for a dual op-amp am radio that we found on the internet
We found the schematic at www.blablabla.com

The first thing we wanted to do with our radio was to add an op-amp. Next we added a longer antenna.
We decided to add an op-amp because we needed to amplify the signal so the we could hear fainter signals easier through our earpiece. We added a longer antenna so the radio could pick up the signal easier.

To add the dual op-amp to our radio we needed a few other parts:

-Breadboard
-Various resistors
-Various capacitors
-Various wires
-Transistor

We got all the parts we didn't already have from Radio Shack. We then constructed the dual op-amp portion of the circuit according to the schematic.

Once we had put our radio together it was time to try it out.

Final Schematic
We updated our original schematic to include the dual op-amp.
